Mk2 Sceptre - Upgrading to Electronic Ignition?

Hi all,
I'm looking at upgrading the ignition system on my Mk2 Sceptre to electronic ignition. I've been having some trouble with points wearing out quickly, and I'm hoping electronic ignition will improve reliability and performance.
Has anyone here done this before? I'd be grateful for any advice on which systems are compatible and relatively easy to install. I've seen some kits online, but I'm not sure which one would be the best choice for my car.
Specifically, I'm wondering about:
* Which electronic ignition kits work well with the 1725cc engine?
* Are there any modifications required for installation?
