MK II Sceptre for sale

I have owned this car since early April this year when she was bought from ebay. She had recently had her MOT (which is valid until mid March next year) and, being an historic vehicle, you don't need to pay road tax. Instead, you just apply for the disc free of charge and the current disc is valid until the end of May next year.
She was bought from London and driven back to Nottingham with no problems whatsoever. Overall, her bodywork is the same now as when I bought her; a few light spots of rusting here and there but generally marvellous paintwork and in great condition underneath. The rear wing on the passenger side has either been replaced or resprayed at some point; in bright sunlight you can see a very slight difference in the paintwork but not to a degree where her general appearance is affected.
The condition inside is good. She has no stereo/radio fitted and the clock doesn't work. Her glove compartment also has a habit of flying open, but these are minor details which can easily be sorted. Some attention needs paying to electrics; the brake light on the dash stays lit even when the handbrake is off and the inside light doesn't work. The screen wash also needs some attention and she is in need of a new spare tyre. However, as before, I believe these to be minor details which only require a little bit of time spent on them.
Rear seatbelts have been fitted and her overdrive is in great working order; I have regularly had her cruising at 90mph + and she drives beautifully. I myself have covered some 5000 since owning her.
So why am I getting rid? Basically, I have had to spend a fair amount of money on her these last few months. She has had a new brake master cyclinder fitted and a stainless steel exhaust. Then, over the summer she started overheating and eventually broke down. My local mechanic, who has done all work on her these last few months told me that, despite being told to the contrary, she had not been converted to un-leaded. As a consequence, she was in docks for some four or five weeks whilst a new head gasket, new cyclinders and new cylinder head were fitted. The work came to nearly £600 all told but she can now be driven with unleaded and, in the words of my mechanic, she is now a perfect example of a car for her age.
She averages about 20 miles to the gallon and since I have been using her for everyday use, I am starting to find her expensive to run. Therefore, I've decided to sell her while she is in this great condition and would love her to go to a good home where someone has the time to "tweak" things to perfection. Any questions are welcomed and please get in touch if you want to come and see her for yourself. She needs to be collected from my home in Nottingham. Get in touch if you want me to email any pictures.
