Hi All
MK1, 1600 engine, core plugs (parts list calls them sealing caps). In the diagram I can see two are below the manifold and one is at gearbox end. Can anyone tell me where the other three are? Engine will be coming out to replace all.

Hi, sorry I can't help on the core plugs but just wanted to say I'm doing engine rebuild too, a little more complicated as I'm converting a super minx engine into a sceptre engine.

I can now answer my own question as I have the engine out of the car! There are 4 below the manifold and one at the rear just above the bell housing. These are 1.25 inch. There is one behind the flywheel, 1.5 inch.
