Just getting ready to remove Mk1 Sceptre side trim prior to painting. Understand how to get the "wide" side-trim off, but what about getting the other trim off ?? i.e rear wings/rear light surround, fin tops. My trim is in pretty good nick & I don't want to dive in & damage it by moving it incorrectly.......Advice please ??

All i can recal is,first put your hand inside the wing area and have a good feel around.Check for any small bolts holding the trim on,normally at each end of the trim section.Better to start at one end using something flat like, a plastic scraper or metal one if your not to worried about scratches if the tool slips. Then its a gentle lever type of movement to pop it off.I left my windscreen chrome on,i dont know if the clips that hold this chrome on are still available?.Or the very small cliips for rear wing and upper door trim.I got new clips for the bigger side chrome.

I had a right job on a previous Sceptre with the screen Chrome, so left well alone on the next one.One tip after its off, store it somewhere it wont get creased, like the loft.
