hey ho a quick update,
Myn has had her headgasket, (and valve lap) head had to be skimmed not from corrosion but to being out of true, pistons and bored were pleasantly good although for some reason she doesnt appear to have valve stem oil seals,
so shes back together, I been usingher a few days and still the temperature guage sits perfectly at 3/4, no pressure in the system ow compared to before, have ordered a new thermostat housing cap and temp sender unit, figure if the dial voltage is ok (should be 5v according to my book) then maybe the bright red sender unit it has is wrong..
next job...
New front pads
(backs ok now I have put the auto adjustors on correct sides)
