Still after an engine

Hi we're after a 1725 engine to go in a Commer PB. We'd like a good runner, late a version as possible but will consider anything as we don't have a lot of money
Need an overdrive gearbox too. PM me if you can help with either of these.

hi mate I take it your old engine is totally fubarred then?

No it's not completely knackered from what we can tell, I think if it got a good service and a new dizzy, along with the leak sorted (something, probably manifold related, is leaking fumes into the cabin) then it would probably run ok. The problem is the engine is only a 1500 and a good one can barely manage 50mph on it's 4-speed box. We intend to take this round Europe in the summer and also do the summer music festival thing etc, so we want something better for touring.
The 1725cc engine is the best swap as it requires very little work and is completely reversible.
