can i use a m reg engine in a g reg car?

simples can i use the engine in n reg mk3 in the g reg mk3 ??????? does it just bolt in? the n has 4spd g 3sdp any ideas?

if your staying auto then you will need to swap over the driven plate on back of engine and probably the inlet manifold/carb as not sure how the kickdown works on these..
also are they both aluminium head engines? cast iron heads and aluminium heads dont have the same valve pattern so the manifolds are completely different..
other than that if they both from Arrows then its a straight nut an bolt swap

yes both alloy what this driven plate and where do i get i have the complete m regd car so can use both ebgine and geabox from that would that be the best bet?

yeah you can use teh whole lot.. and go manual..
what I emant was an auto car dont have a flywheel it has a driven plate that teh torque convertor fits to so you would need to fit this to the manual engine if you wanted it to go automatic..
(and yeah vic would quite like a v8 as it goes)
