i have just procured a 1962 series 1 superminx, i have a few things i will need to find for it. any chance you lovely people may impart some knowledge?
what PCD is on this model? (the wheels dont look like i could save them, so i might have to source new ones)
is there anywhere that i could get a set of pre-cut carpets from? (the ones in mine look like a rat has been chewing on them)
is there anywhere that either stock or make exhaust manifolds?
where is best to get a fuel tank from? (big leak at the pipe connections)
if you might be so kind as to point me in the right direction i might have to owe you a pint.

You can get carpet sets on ebay - there's alway some advertised.
The rest, I am still to discover.

I don't know for sure as I haven't yet tried it but I believe the PCD is the same as older Fords.

Correct - 4 stud Fords do have the same pcd as our Rootes cars - however you do need to check that the nuts that go with the wheels are suitable - i.e. some have a slightly different taper and some such as the Ford 4 spoke RS wheel have nuts which are shouldered so the original Rootes nuts are not any good -
they do look good though:

No, it's a Mk1 Sceptre in the process of getting a V8 engine . . .
