Hi

Just got my tired Alpine and want to get it going. The fuel T piece to the carbs has perished & i have a new one. Is there any easy way to fit it or do I really have to take a carb off ?

Put the car in gear & there is no drive half shafts Ok, no pressure on the pedal is it the clutch mechanism or something else ?

Thanks

Nick

If I had an Alpine, I would be on an Alpine forum, of which there are more than one. It's very quiet on here!

can be quiet, ive not even got a rootes motor at the moment btu I still drift by from time to time, think its a carb off to fit that T-piece im afraid , no drive could be any number of things so id check the following

1.. Jack up rear of car, turn wheels see if propshaft is turning, this will tell you if the diff is ok

2.. if you put it in gear does it try and turn engine?

3.. if car is overdrive model have you tried with overdrive on and off (could be at fault)

its hard to say really, seeing the car would make it easier. Im in the midlands where are you?

Remove carb to fit T....Add fluid to Master Cyl...Bleed and pump at Salve Cyl for clutch
