car found in garage??

have found a mk3 1972 humber sceptre in a garage the car seams solid apart from bonnet and boot lid and rear wing's don't know about engine and box( is an auto) previous owner is belived to have passed away and there is no known relitives i would like to take this car on to stop it going to the scrap yard (this is where it is heading if no one claims it)how do i go about legally getting the car reg to me?? please help only a few weeks before d-day

get the owner of the garage to sign it over to you (or whoever is sending it to scrap as if they have legal power to scrap it they have the right to sell it surely?)

then just a case of applying for a v5 to the DVLA providing it hasnt been lost off the database..

if it has been lost off the database then t can start getting expensive
