MYN needs a caring home

Post by rootesmadnick » Thu Jul 23, 2009 7:53 pm

well, sadly with the arrival of a great dane into our life and various other commitments I have come to the conclusion that sitting outside in all weathers is no fair way for a 43yr old lady to sit so have put her up for sale again, I know I will miss her eveyr day but every time it rains and I see teh water coursing off her and everytime I clean the flies out of her lights it makes me wonder if its faor ti be putting what I think is such a clean car through the daily grind..
I will be using the money to restore our mk2 campervan with a few new mod cons like running hot water, and hot air heating etc (provided she makes her reserve, cause if not she can stay and ill get a car cover of some description or something) maybe one day when things are different ill find myself that basket case mk2 that nobody wants.. and end up with another one lol !!!!
ill still pop in here from time to time to see if anyone needs help
I fix things!!

Any news Nick? I hope the car stays with you.

It has been very quiet on the forum this year. There are a few posts, but nothing that really gets me excited - usually requests for parts, not a lot of Mk3 discussion either for me to chip in to (which is fine, interesting though because I wonder could there possibly now be more 1's and 2's than 3's left out there??)

Hi Col..

Pete off of here is coming to see her later in the week hopefully...

I will be staying in the humber fold though I hope.. as I have possibly found myself a mk3
ESTATE sceptre..

but that depends on how much cash is left after the camper has been refitted
