HI all
I have a 1963 Mk1 Sceptre which I've owned for about 25 years. It is currently off the road in order to make some improvements and I stumbled across this forum whilst searching on the net. As I've had Sceptres for some time hopefully I can answer questions for some of at some stage but I wondered if, for now, someone could answer a question for me.
Is there any differnce between Mk1 and Mk2 Sceptre Glass. I don't mean in shape and size but in BS spec. ie, was the mk2 glass of a later, improved spec than the mk1? Has the anyone here got a MK2 that they could quote the BS number from.
Many thanls
Sceptre Mk1 and Mk2 glass.

Hello Al, I have had a look this morning at the markings on the front and rear screen of my Mk II. There are no markings on the front screen (may have been replaced at some time??) on the rear screen at the top, centre, it states 'Triplex Toughened, T F M 4 (and then) xxx Hope this helps Dave
