Chrome roof trim removal help reqd.Mk2 sceptre

Hi all, can anyone help me as i need to remove the chrome trim from the rear of the roof on my mk2 sceptre and dont want to ruin it as i intend replacing it after respraying. Any info would be great. Thanks

Cant help you on that,im sure i looked at mine when it was to be painted and thought " thats going to get wrecked,can i get the clips that hold it on,i think I'll leave it on and mask it.
