Hi Everyone
Blimey ! This board took some finding. I have had my car now since February. Its a one owner from new 65 series 3 saloon. Its been in the "workshop" since I bought it and this week it was driven blinking back into the daylight for the first time with a valid MOT since 1979. I have largely finished the mechanical restoration of "Mij" but need to source a few bits. I have tried the usual suspects (speedy's etc) but still require a rear over-rider and a new steering wheel as mine is starting to crack. Please let me know if you have one Rawson93@hotmail.com or if you live nearby and just want to have a natter about the cars.

Nice looking car - good to see another Rootesmobile rejuvenated and put back on the road.

http://www.collectorscarparts-heathrow.co.uk is worth a try for the steering wheel and overrider (there's also ebay of course . . .)

Alternatively these people specialise in restoring steering wheels http://www.steeringwheelrestoration.co.uk
