New seat belt fitting.

Post by rusty nuts » Thu Jul 12, 2012 7:32 pm

Anybody fitted new seat belts to a Sceptre, i dont want to start drilling pillars. Can i just bolt new ones in the same holes, a bloke on ebay is selling them.

I can half remember doing this on another Sceptre years back, i'm sure i had a bit of a job with the bolts on the pillars. Like the nuts fell down inside or something like that :?:

I still have the old static ones on at the moment.

I'm not too sure if you are fitting original or inertia seat belts?
If it's new inertia seat belts, this company do them.

They have a couple of photos which may help you.

I'm getting mine done by them in the next few weeks.
If it helps, I'll take some more detailed photos to show you how they did it.
