Hi,
I'm owning a Singer gazelle 3A convertible since a few years but can't drive it because of a gearbox problem (SMITHS semi-automatic (?) gearbox, Serial Nr F 00988, Code Nr FCU 7001 04). A specialist of vintage automatic cars tried a few different ways of connecting the box, but the car could either drive rear/1rst speed (only) or 1rst & 2nd speed (only, without rear).
Does anyone have an idea of the parts to be replaced or the mistake in connecting the gearbox ?
