Hi I need a new throttle cable for my 1971 mk3 sceptre .
All the ones I can find on ebay ect say for cars fitted with SU carbs . Apart from I have never seen a sceptre with SU's on it .
Mine has what I believe to be the standard and most common Twin 150 cd Stromberg's. any sugestions

hiya, hows the conversion going ? any photo's yet ? if you cannot get a cable then if you have the old one you only need the eye at the pedal end and youcan make one up bit of soldering job done .....even if you are not good at soldering the experience will come in handy for later jobs on the wiring ect good luck hoppo

I am actualy enjoying driving as it is at the moment auto and all !!
there are loads of cables on ebay but they all say for cars with SU carbs but i dont ever recall seeing one with Su carbs on it . only ever seen them with strombergs or webbers !
