front suspension compatibility with Alpine?

Does anybody know if the front suspension and cross member is compatible between any years of Super Minx and Sunbeam Alpine?

The picture looks like an exact match for my 64 suspension set up mate. However looking at advertised alpine front shocks they seem to be bushed the same top and bottom. My shocks have the vertical bushes on the top as usual and the left and right horizontal bushes on the bottom. So I'm assuming the bottom arms may differ slightly. I'm trying to find some front shocks for my 64 at the moment. All I've found so far are the ones Speedy Spares do which are gonna set me back nearly 200 quid a pair. Wanna try and find some a little cheaper if poss.
Hope this helps mate.

Thanks for the reply.
As to your shocks. This is what I do know. The front shocks on your car are the same as on a Series IV & V Alpine. It may be easier to find by asking for that.

Also, supposedly the following shocks will also fit. (I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the below info.)
But you could take your shock out and take it to the store to compare when you ask for one of the ones below.

Sears # 79281 Ford Truck ‘50-’74
Full size Buick ‘65-’70 Lincoln ‘52-’54
Buick Riviera ‘66-’70 Corvette ‘60-’62
Cadillac ‘65-’76 Olds Vista Cruiser ‘63
Chevy Camaro '68
With some of these shocks, it will be necessary to use different mounting bushings and/or bolts than supplied.

Wow £200 a pair? you can get a pair of fancy SPAX adjustable shocks for your car for less than that!
