Humber Sceptre Mk2 Spares

Post by bhpdub » Thu Sep 25, 2014 6:40 pm

Hi guys.
Newbie here.
I've just purchased a 1967 Mk2 Sceptre.
Looking forward to getting to know it more in the coming days.
I've had other Rootes group cars in the past, including my first car, which was a 1974 Hillman Super Imp.
Also had an Alpine fastback, a Singer Vogue, Various series Hillman Minx's, An early Arrow bodied Minx estate, a Super Minx Auto (Column change), and later Chrysler cars including a Simca 1501, and a Talbot Solara (Simca 1307) Probably had a few others that I've forgotten about!
Anyway, as I say, I'm looking forward to playing with the Sceptre, which has been laid up, in a garage, sat on stilts for over 20 years!
I'll keep you all posted.

Hi Guys

Sorry...I forgot to mention the spares listed in the subject heading!

The car did come with lots of spares, some of which I know I won't need. (Hopefully!)

I'll make list when I've had time to sort through them all.

Cheers

I did much the same last year, 1967 Sceptre Mk2, one owner for 43 years! I too had an Alpine and a Mk3 Sceptre previously. Enjoy :)

Hi
I'm looking for the shorter hose that comes from the heater.
Seems you can get the longer one everywhere but no joy for the other.
would you have such an item
cheers

The horn ring on my friends '66 Sceptre has disintegrated...;0((
