Early Mk1A Humber Sceptre
Too much time has already been spent on this car and my life is suffering so a Humber Sceptre Mk1 is up for grabs 'famous' started restoration project (my second Humber so I know what is involved) but stiil loads of work needed well the car is about 2/3 finished, engine has been reconditioned new bearings, head refaced etc etc stainless exhaust fitted engine starts and runs and the car drives engine bay has been resprayed red along with the bonnet and the white boot so the car was planned to be white and red (paint supplied) body as no more welding left to do so is rust free mainly just the respray and interior left, I have the correct interior as well good number plate give away cost of £300 or £500 with the refurbished wheels and new thin whitwall tyres. Office hours only 02392 260769 for a chat - car will need a trailer and is situated near Portsmouth.[/b]

the key words are "loads of work still needed." With a Humber Sceptre I am afraid that there is just is not the enthusiast base willing to take these things on. You might as well save up 2 grand and go and buy the best you can...well, that's my opinion anyway..
Try another forum or two before you give up though...best of luck
