Mk1 drivers seat

Post by lewssceptre » Wed Nov 15, 2017 11:44 am

Oh dear ... got in the car yesterday and found I was nearly sitting on the floor plan. Found the diaphragm had split. Did search but couldn't find any so does anyone out there know where I can purchase one? Thanks. Lew

Thanks for replies
Just taken seat apart and found foam surround disintegrated as well. Was thinking of webbing so thanks sceptre511 for info. Now need to find local shop that cuts foam to shape.

Seat repaired. Found a upholsterer who made shaped foam surround and made rubber webbing. Fitted in car, sat on it and was surprised how high I was sitting! Couldn't go for test drive - snow.
