alloys and lowering blocks.

Post by timmo478 » Mon Jan 27, 2014 10:50 pm

Hi all does anyone know where to get lowering blocks for a 64 super minx. I'm considering lowering mine and putting some classic minilite alloys on. Want to keep to a 13 inch minilite but go wider so does anyone know how wide I could safely go? I.e. offset and such like. And obviously ill be going lower as well. Seems to be quite a lot of room under the rear arches.
Thanks in advance.

I believe the Mustang rims I put on mine are about 8.5" with very little space to spare. I don't think you are going to get any wider than that.
The rims in the picture are 15" rims.

Thanks again rider. Think I'll stick with a 13x7 then given the fact I plan on lowering her as well.
Just need to find some blocks that fit now.

13 x 7 will look great!
Nice and fat in 13"

How about some minilites or superlites?

Was thinking exact same thing mate.
Got a separate issue I'm gonna post about now though.

I had -40mm Spax springs on mine, and 17s.
Looked fantastic, and felt no too bad either.
15s look good on the BG though, in fact the biggest and best visual mod on the BG is lowering, no matter what wheels its got
