Mk1 Windscreen fitting

Hi, basic question really. When fitting windscreen is it easier to fit chrome trim before or after fitting? Never done one before!

Hi Lew, I am sure you will be underwhelmed with replies. It seems nobody posts anything with months in between. I have fitted a few screens over the years and you will have to fit the screen first. If you fit the trim it will stop the “give” in the rubber and make fitting very difficult. Apply some liquid soap to the rubber and that will help. Good luck, Norman
