HEADLINING FOR 1965 HUMBER SCEPTRE MK1

Post by 1952bry » Thu Feb 14, 2008 8:32 pm

HI, CAN ANYONE HELP. I'M HAVING MY '65 SCEPTRE RESTORED AND THE HEADLINING IS A BIT SHABBY ESPECIALLY AT THE BACK END. I AM ASSUMING THAT THE HEADLINING WAS THE SAME COLOUR (WHITEISH?) IN ALL THE CARS REGARDLESS OF BODY AND INTERIOR COLOUR.

HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP,

CHEERS,
BRYAN ELLIS(HUDDERSFIELD)

Hi Bryan,
.........think this may be what you're after, it certainly looks like the headlining in my Sceptre, click on this link and then on 'view larger image' on the page that comes up to have a proper look, don't know if the price is for a headlining or by the yard but if you hit the 'contact us' link at the top of the page it'll come up with their address and phone number, so you can check with them easily enough, hope this helps.

........................cheers, Jack.

THANKS JACK, CERTAINLY LOOKS LIKE THE SAME MATERIAL. I WAS HOPING TO FIND A DECENT USED HEADLINING AND SWAP IT FOR MINE. IF I CAN'T, I'LL CERTAINLY GIVE THEM A TRY.

MANY THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HELP,

BRYAN ELLIS.
