Are you sure it needs seatbelts? Did someone remove them previously do you think.
Annoying if this is a fail...And without the original end fittings it is difficult to cobble something up with new belt materials...

Re: seatbelts for mkII needed urgently
hi Colin !!!
merry christmas to you buddy !!!!
Well... basically the original owner (one before me) decided as it was a classic it was better if it had none in...
he put them in the boot apparently and for the love ofme I cant find the blooming things now...
I have found the remnants of the drivers one and yeah I see what you mean about clips and things.. why??????
but the bracket for the ns is missing... and the drivers side bracket seems a bit bent...
I have managed to get some belts out of a minibus we was breaking but they have to be mounted in a funny position to work as they originally bolted up to
the bottom of the seat.
I am going to fold up some brackets in an L shape hopefully and use the original rear botls to mount the inertia reels to and also provide the lower fixing for the return end of the web.. then I just need to work out how the hell IM going to use some 150mm stalks as the original stalk mounting bolts are practically next to the rear seats on my car.. are they all like this?
still it means I will have inertia belts which is a plus..
just a shame they dont match the lap belts fitted right across the rear seat..
