WANTED for MK2 - GEARBOX MAIN + PRIMARY SHAFT - NOW FOUND

I'm having my 1966 Humber Sceptre Mk2 gearbox reconditioned, and need the following parts:-

MAIN SHAFT - Part No. 1229419
INPUT/ PRIMARY SHAFT - Part No. 123660
or
SECOND HAND GEARBOX with overdrive for 1725cc. (Not Hunter/ Sceptre Mk3/ Rapier variation)

If all else fails, I will buy a second hand gearbox, and salvage it for parts, in the hope that it's a good one.
So I am also looking for a second hand gearbox.

I've already contact Speedyspares and Sunbeam-Alpine, checked on Ebay with no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

This guy has had an older gearbox for sale for some time.
It's a Super minx mkI. Anyone know if it is the same?

Thanks for pointing that out.
I've been aware of that gearbox for some time.
It is not the same as mine.

I need the 1725cc with overdrive. It is just specific to the 1966 model.
It is not the same as the 1967-1972 Hunter/ Sceptre/ Rapier 1725cc with over drive.

Thanks for that, and good thinking,
but I'd already called that guy and put in an offer for just the Gearbox last week.
He said that it wasn't worth his while as he has been made a much better offer from a local banger racer guy.
Who wants the shell, engine and gearbox.

He did say he would ask the guy 'banger' guy if he wanted to sell it, after he'd raced it.
I said "No thanks".

Yippee. I've now found one.
It looks very clean, and very low mileage.
Although it's yet to be inspected by the Gearbox specialists.

After they've taken the shafts off, I will be selling it, if anyone is interested.
I can put my old shafts back if you like.
