Hi all, anyone know what I require to upgrade my Mk2 1592 cartridge filter to a modern day spin on oil filter.

it's very easy, all you need is the newer spin-on mount, it's a direct replacement.
Unbolt one and bolt on the other. If you can't find one from a Hillman, a sunbeam one will work too.
(See a previous thread about the dangers of the filter mount with the sticking brass relief plunger found in some early and on some later year model mounts.)
And the best thing when you are done is that you can then use the most common oil filter (at least here in the states) the PH8A
You may need to change out the length of the studs and/or bolts to fit the new style mount.
