Re: Speedo Cable
on the manual (shouldnt be too different) ou hve to undo three bolts to pull the whole of the twin pod assembly forward where the rev and speedo are, if you feel up the back at either end of the alloy casting around the dials and directly in the middle you will find the bolts up high, its not an easy job and on mine they went on for ever on a super fine thread, be very wary about pulling the bullet connectors out the lighting wires also as they seemed to be taut on my car, then you can get the speedo head forward enough to unscre the cable, it then goes down through the right hand side of the gearbox tunnel roof and underneath the vehicle
can I ask why your changing it as I changed mine to cure a jumping needle and it made no difference at all as it was the actual speedo that was playing up, a sign of this is accurate milometer but awful speedo readings (130mph in a 30mph zone anyone?)
