Engine swap

I broke my car today. I was considering a rover V8 engine which comes with a Borg Warner 35 autobox. My sceptre has a Borg Warner 45 autobox. i was hoping that the Rover engine may mate to my existing box just by swapping the bellhousing for the one off the rover, does anyone know if this is the case. If not, i have been offered an engine from a Mk3 sceptre auto. Will this fit straight in? I know that the mk3 engine was slanted at 10% will this cause me any problems?

If you call Ashcroft transmissions on 01582 496040 and ask for David Ashcroft, you should get the info you need.
